Dermal Fillers

Dermal filler can be injected into the skin to treat wrinkles, creases and restore volume to the face or body.

Jade Vienna Aesthetics use hyaluronic acid-based filler products.

The effects usually last from nine months to two years, depending on the type of filler and the area you have treated.

Lip Filler

Lip augmentation is a procedure that can add volume for a fuller lip or replace any that has been lost over time, for a more youthful look.

The procedure involves injecting dermal filler into your lips to achieve a natural, subtle volume and shape.

Marionette Lines

Marionette lines are the shadows that start from the corner of the mouth and run down towards the jawline, either side of the chin.

Loss of skin collagen and loss of mid-face volume causes the skin on the face to descend down towards the jaw. This results in the formation of marionette lines.

Filler injected here acts to firm the skin and smooth out any unwanted lines.

Nasolabial Folds

Nasolabial folds are deep wrinkles that run from either side of your nose, down towards the corners of your mouth.

With age, the fold becomes deeper and forms a shadow that can make the face look tired.

Dermal filler injected here can plump and hydrate the area so that fine lines and deep wrinkles appear smoother.

Cheek Filler

There are a number of indications for injecting dermal filler into and around the chin. These include feminisation or masculisation of the chin to achieve better facial proportions, shape and definition.

Dermal filler injected here works to enhance a weak chin, give the illusion of weight loss, balance the side profile and smooth out irregularities such as dimpling, through increasing volume to the area.

Jawline Filler

As we age, we lose definition along our jawline and start to see the formation of jowls. This is due to the natural loosening of the skin and connective tissue, loss of mid-face volume and changes to the underlying bone and muscles of the face.

Dermal filler injected here works by re-shaping the skin along the jawline and giving better definition to the underlying bone structure.

Tear Trough Filler

The tear trough is the hollow area that starts from the inner corner of the eye and runs diagonally down to towards the cheek. A hollow tear trough forms a shadow under the eyes and is often referred to as "dark circles".

Dermal filler injected here can smooth and plump the area to improve the appearance of puffy bags or dark circles.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

Dermal filler injected into the nose, also known as non-surgical rhinoplasty, can lift a droopy tip, straighten a dorsal hump and create a smooth and narrow bridge of the nose.

Placed correctly, dermal filler is used to change the proportions and definition of the nose in order for it to appear straighter, narrower and more lifted.

8 Point Facelift

The 8 point facelift is a non-surgical procedure that lifts and rejuvenates the face. A bespoke treatment designed according to your individual needs and facial symmetry.

Precise areas of the face are treated with dermal filler. This is particularly effective and natural-looking as it focuses on overall rejuvenation of the whole face, rather than trouble-shooting one or two more isolated areas.

There are 6 areas treated with the 8 point facelift:

  • Under eye area

  • Nasolabial folds

  • Cheeks (3 points for definition and structure)

  • Corners of the mouth

  • Jowls

  • Jaw line

Frequently Asked Questions

What are fillers made of?

JV Aesthetics use hyaluronic acid (HA) based dermal fillers. These are closely linked to our own skin which makes them safe to use. They are also fully reversable.

What is the recovery time?

There is no downtime with dermal filler, however swelling and bruising can occur so be sure to have treatment in time for a special event.
